November 2008 News

    Last year, when the harvest time finished, I tossed one lone, little pumpkin into the weed patch behind our building. Seasons came and went, and recently, we ventured outside and spied something orange growing amongst the weeds. Through all the cold, heat, rain and weeds, a new little pumpkin grew on the vine! Delighted with our find, we were soon taught a great lesson about harvesting with our Savior. On September 30th as we prepared to go to Lagrange County’s Corn School, a woman stopped in and asked if we had “any of those pictures that stuck on a board.” Further questioning revealed she was interested in flannelgraph Bible stories, like the kind she heard as a young girl in Good News Clubs held in homes. She explained that she wanted her grandchildren to hear these stories, and with a sweet smile on her face, she shared that she had just been saved the week before. The little pumpkin held new meaning for us, now, as we realize anew that God will harvest in His time and way. Let us continue to sow the seed!

·We are thankful for you who support and pray for this ministry!
·We are thankful for all the many children who have received Jesus Christ as Savior!
·We are thankful, most of all, for God’s indescribable gift, Jesus Christ!
