Our Summer Missionaries
Amy Reiniche is returning this year to CEM serving for her
fourth summer. She is a sophomore at IUSB, majoring in
communications, and is looking forward to what God has in
store for her life. She felt the call from the Lord that she
was to return and be a part of the team that helps win boys
and girls to Jesus! We are excited to have her back!
Paul Anderson, another veteran of CEM, is returning for his
third summer as a summer missionary. Paul will be entering
his senior year as a homeschooler. He is active in his
church and in Bible quizzing. Paul is a great storyteller
and we are so happy to have him being a vital part of our
team! Kristin West, a senior at Elkhart Christian Academy,
is a first year summer missionary. Although she helped the
team out three years ago, she is fully committed to walk the
path that God revealed to her this summer. We are excited to
see Kristin thrive and be an asset to our team!
Katrina McMahan is joining the CEM team this summer for the
first time! As a daughter of missionaries growing up in New
Zealand, Katrina has had opportunities to share the Gospel
in a different culture. We were so blessed that God placed
Katrina to be a part of our team and to help be a witness
among children! She is a sophomore at Lancaster Bible
College, and we welcome her to our team!
Karen Schmidt, the bookkeeper for CEM, felt the Lord
prompting her to be part of the CEM team. Karen, who has a
heart for the Lord and for children, stepped up and became a
leader of our team. An avid Chicago Cubs fan, Karen is quick
to show the same kind of enthusiasm for the children and for
storytelling, just as much as she does for those Cubs! We
are excited to have her be a part of the CEM team!
Linda Reiniche, the director of CEM, has taken on the role
of leading our summer team to 12 Bible schools this year.
Through many phone calls, emails, paperwork, and computer
work, Linda still has the energy to help mold and prepare
the team for what the summer holds. She has been a reliable
and vital part of this team, and we continue to love and
appreciate her. She longs to hear the words “Well done, good
and faithful servant…”!
